xarvio™ xarvio at Agrotech in Poland

There was a lot going on at the Agrotech in Kielce. Over 70,000 visitors came to see the latest developments in agriculture for themselves. xarvio™ was also there and received an award.

The conclusion to Agrotech 2019 in Kielce is that digitization in agriculture is progressing steadily in Poland and it is being met with great interest. More than 70,000 visitors attended between March 15-17 to find out about the latest developments in agricultural technology at the 25th International Fair of Agricultural Techniques.Agrotech Polen

Located 170 kilometers from Warsaw, xarvio™ was one of 750 exhibitors from a total of 23 countries who presented themselves and their products to the crowds of visitors. At stand E7, FIELD MANAGER and SCOUTING were met with great interest. In the SCOUTING area, visitors were able to take photos of plants presented on display cards and within seconds received information on diseases, weeds, insects, leaf damage and nitrogen status on their smartphones.

As at previous international trade fair appearances, the xarvio™ stand attracted the attention of visitors with its modern design and integrated multimedia elements. “We are always delighted when farmers come up to us and emphasize that our appearance as fresh, open and modern. This is not only a compliment to our stand designers, but also to the entire team on site,” explained Eva Hill of xarvio™ Commercial Operations. There was also praise from the exhibition management, who presented xarvio™ with the award for best stand design.

However, the xarvio™-Team mainly focused on the visitors, as Henrich Meier of Global Commercialization, emphasized: "Naturally, we like using such events to exchange views with farmers about the possibilities and challenges of digitalization trends in the field of agriculture. This is an excellent opportunity for us to engage directly with our target group, learn about their needs and to integrate these insights into the continued development of our products.

In total, xarvio™ welcomed about 10,000 visitors during the three days of the fair in Kielce. Among them was “Slomek”, the Polish agrarian YouTuber who reports regularly on his channel about his work and new developments in agriculture. A side trip to xarvio™ for Slomek was a must, of course. On Saturday, the farmer whose YouTube channel has more than 37,000 subscribers and counting, stopped by to try out SCOUTING and FIELD MANAGER, and collected plenty of video too.

The xarvio™ team would like to thank all of the visitors of Agrotech 2019 in Kielce and is sure that xarvio™ will continue to promote digitization in agriculture in Poland.
